Josephine Friel

Josephine (Munday) Friel, 88, Noblesville, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. She was born May 13, 1919 in Cross Plains, Tennessee to Mary (Gibbs) Munday and George Munday.
Josephine was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, in Noblesville. Her work career had included working for Eli Lilly for 10 years; Paul Harris for 2 years; and Aero Drapery in Westfield for 15 years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Frederick A. Friel of Noblesville; son Michael J. (& Cindy) Friel of Anderson; two grandchildren, Marlena Friel and Frederick Alan Friel; and three great-grandchildren Morgan, Braden & Ian Allen.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by six brothers, Will, Guy, George, Jess, Joe and Ben Munday; and five sisters, Minne Walsh, Elizabeth Yokely, Matte Drake, Rose Davis and Pearl Clinard.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Rev. Tom Metzger, officiating. Friends may call Monday, March 10, 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
