Joyce M. Purciful

Joyce M. Purciful, 80, of Noblesville, went home to be with her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, April 26, 2018.  She was born on July 4, 1937 to Fred and Helen (Whitaker) Fausett in Anderson, Indiana.
For over 25 years, Joyce worked as a medical records transcriptionist at Riverview Health and worked with the Care Group.  She was also part-owner of Purciful's Nursery.  Joyce was a member of Harbour Shores Church where she sang in the choir for 30 years, and also participated for 20 years in the Hamilton County Passion Play "Behold The Lamb".  She taught the Sunday school class ANNA, helped with AWANA children's ministry, and was a member of the women's ministry leadership team. Joyce sang with the Silver Notes and the Voices of Victory.  She liked to travel and was an avid gardener who loved being outside.  Most of all, Joyce was a wonderful mother who loved her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Rex (Karen) Hancock, Mike Purciful, Don Purciful, and Paul (Rachel) Purciful; sister, Debi Allison; grandchildren, Kristen, Caitlin, Kendra, Samantha and Andie; several great-grandchildren; nieces, Sharon, Candy and Margaret; and nephew, Shane.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Jim "Dude" Hancock; son, Neil Purciful; sister, Barbara Moberly.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville, with visitation from 11:00 am to the time of service.  Pastor Don Jennings II will officiate.  Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
