Juanita (Rivera) Burroughs, age 80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 shortly after a visit with family in Noblesville, Indiana. She was born in Aguas Buenos, Puerto Rico and moved to New York when she was a teenager. She lived most of her life in Brooklyn, New York where she married, raised three children and worked hard to support her family. She retired from Woodhull Hospital in NY and was an avid reader spending her retirement time reading, cooking and enjoying time with family and friends.
She is survived by her three children- Sharon Critelli, Joy Jensen and George Burroughs; Grandchildren-Nicole Fisher, Talia Jensen, Kellie Jensen, Jennifer Burroughs and George Burroughs, Jr.; Great-grandchildren-Preston Fisher, Elliott Fisher and Brady Fisher and Nephew- Ricardo Bonilla. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Burroughs, Sister, Antonia Rivera and Great-grandson, Rowan Fisher.
A celebration of her life will be held privately by family.
