Juanita DeWeese

Juanita R. DeWeese, 74, of Fort Myers passed away on May 12, 2008. Born in Indianapolis , IN to Gordon & Myrtle Wilkerson, she later married William DeWeese and moved with her family to Fort Myers in 1983. She worked for a local auto industry making deliveries and raised three children. She is known to her family and friends as feisty, energetic and fun loving. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Jerry) Williams; sons, Charles E. Wilkerson and Michael R. Mize; sister, Mary (Howard) Cox; brothers, Gordon (Arlene) Wilkerson and Earl Eugene Wilkerson; 10 grandchildren; 1 step grandchild; 10 great grandchildren and three more on the way; 2 step great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband William DeWeese in 1991; brothers, Bert and Richard Wilkerson and granddaughter, Christina. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2008 from 5-8pm at the Anderson Funeral Home, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd. , Fort Myers . Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 19th at 1:00pm at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis , IN.
