Judith Childress, 74, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012 at Hamilton Trace of Fishers in Fishers. She was born on November 12, 1937 to Theodore and Lois (Divis) Hartquist in Omaha, Nebraska.
Judith worked as a Secretary for various companies during her work life and was a homemaker.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Noblesville, Tri Kappa, Christ Lutheran Altar Guild, an avid golfer and member of the Fox Prairie Golf League.
She is survived by daughters, Tracy (Mark) Cox, Shelly (Reed) Nelson, Lisa Childress and Anne (James) Branham; granddaughters, Megan Cox, Sara (Joe) Heiser, Christina Cox, Allie Bagnoche, Taylor Booher and Ellie Branham; and a great-granddaughter, Natalie Bagnoche.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Trent W. Ranes and second husband, Stanley Childress, and a brother, Richard Hartquist.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at Christ Lutheran Church, 10055 East 186th Street, in Noblesville, with Rev. Adrian Piazza officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 30, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, Noblesville. Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery in Westfield.
