Judy Showalter

Judy Showalter, 67, of Fishers, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. She was born on February 7, 1950 to Donald and Pauline (Waitt) Johnson in Lebanon, Indiana.
Judy was a 1968 graduate of Sheridan High School and received her nursing certification from University of Indianapolis. She was an avid reader and enjoyed a good book. She had a passion for gardening, bird watching and even enjoyed a good thunderstorm from her patio. She cherished the time she could spend with her family and, since she was a good cook, she especially loved preparing "comfort food" for them.
She is survived by her daughter; Nadine Patrick; son, Michael (Ann Marie) Showalter; grandchildren, Lilly & Jack Patrick, and Katherine, Emily & William Showalter; and brother, Neil (Betty) Johnson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Fred Showalter; and a brother, Ronnie Johnson.
A private family remembrance will be held at the convenience of the family. The family has entrusted Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Fishers with cremation.
