Julia Bland

Julia K. Bland, 86, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2012 at Hamilton Trace of Fishers in Fishers. She was born on July 25, 1926 to Vernon Ray Gibbs and Goldie Mae (Perry) Wilson in Crothersville, Indiana.
Julia worked as a Secretary for Firestone Industrial Products. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Noblesville.
She is survived by daughter, Paula (Steven) Elliott of Mechanicsburg, PA; daughter-in-law, Darla Bland of Noblesville; two grandsons, Craig (Angela) Koven of Indianapolis, IN; and Kent (Erica) Koven of Pendleton, IN; four great-grandchildren, Grant, Shelby, Blake & Gage Koven; plus one sister, Elizabeth (Alfred) Gould.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas P. Bland (December 1981); son, Dallas R. Bland (October 17, 2010); and brother, Paul Gibbs.
Services will be held at 10:30AM on Friday, September 21, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Clarence Hardison officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
