Julia Grace Howard Dyer, 74, Noblesville, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born February 25, 1936 in Whitesville, Kentucky to Joseph O. and Mary G. (Smith) Howard.
Julia was a teacher and principal in both public and Catholic schools throughout several states.
She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Evansville, Indiana, and prior to her marriage, she was a member of the Benedictine Sisters for 14 years.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Addison "Skip" L. Dyer of Noblesville; daughter, Jennifer (husband, Paul) Auble of Noblesville; son, Timothy Dyer of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; sisters, Mary Eleanor (husband, Melvin) Wathen of Owensboro, Kentucky, Rita Szemethy of Utica, Kentucky, and Sister Ann Marie Howard OSB of Louisville, Kentucky; brother, Edward (wife, Grace) Howard of Owensboro, Kentucky; brother, Charles Leo (wife, Florence) Howard of Philpot, Kentucky; brother, Leonard (wife, Eva) Howard also of Philpot, Kentucky; brother, Martin (wife, Gwen) Howard of Owensboro, Kentucky; and five grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at a later date at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Evansville, Indiana.
