Julie Baker, 53, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis. She was born on October 9, 1959 to Donald and Ruth (Bentley) Edwards in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Her mother precedes her in death.
Julie was a homemaker; she graduated from Bishop Luers High School and was a 1982 graduate of Indiana University; and a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Noblesville. To know her was to love her. Godspeed our beloved Julie.
She is survived by her husband Phil Baker; sons, Nick (fiance, Elizabeth Babicke) Baker, Reid Baker, and Mitch Baker; father, Donald Edwards; father & mother-in-law, Larry & Miriam Baker; sisters, Laura Bringman, Lisa Edwards, Mindy (Mark) Thoma, and Susan (Jeff) Brooks; brothers, Doug (Stana) Edwards, Charlie (Kim) Edwards, and Brian (Deb) Edwards; brother-in-law, Jeff (Jane) Baker; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street, in Noblesville, with Rev. Tom Metzger officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am immediately prior to the service at the church. There will also be a Celebration of Life from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Julie's honor to Bishop Luers High School, 333 E. Paulding Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46816.
