June Roer

June Marie (Meyer) Roer, 93, of Carmel, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville. She was born on June 10, 1919 to Axel and Viola (Anderson) Meyer in Chicago, Illinois.
June had worked for Hanover Insurance Trust Company, and was a member of the Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chicago. Her favorite past time was spending time with her family.
She is survived by nieces & nephews, Pam (George) Jewell, Liane (Eric Truelove) Peterson, Kevin (Pamela) Peterson, Dee (Bob) Britton & Niel (Julie) Peterson; great-nieces & nephews, Jeffery & Brian Jewell, Derek Peterson & Katherine Peterson, Michaela & Caitlan Truelove, Timothy Cairns, Kayli Peterson & Braydon Peterson, Kristen Britton, Lauren Britton & Erin Piquet; and great-great-nephews, Wyatt Jewell & Xander Britton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Alfred 'Tucker' Roer; sister, Elaine Peterson; nephew, Derek Evan Peterson; and brother-in-law, Harry E. Peterson.
Services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, February 11, 2013 in Mt. Olive Cemetery Chapel, 3800 N Narragansett Ave in Chicago, with burial to follow at the cemetery.
