Kathleen Alhand Denton, 46, of Indianapolis, died Friday, October 22, 2010. Kathleen was born January 3, 1964 at St. Vincent's Hospital to James and Ann Alhand. Kathleen graduated from Pike High School in 1982. She was a 1986 graduate of Indiana University Business School where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honorary Society and Alpha Phi Sorority.
Kathleen's career was spent in the pharmaceutical industry with her most recent nine years representing Astra Zeneca.
Kathleen's accomplishment of which she was most proud is her two daughters, Danielle and Rachel. They are loving, brilliant, and independent young ladies. Kathleen took great pride in her daughters' lives and was very active with their sports teams and school. She and her family are members of St. Simon's Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Bill Denton; two daughters, Danielle and Rachel; parents, Jim and Ann Alhand; sisters, Liz Alhand and MaryLynn Alhand Flanigan; brother, Dennis Alhand; mother-in-law, Rosalyn Denton; four nephews and one niece. She is preceded by her brother, Charles Alhand.
Kathleen's family will receive friends from 4 to 7pm on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
