Kathleen Dillen Maxfield Scott

Kathleen 'Kathy' Lyn (Deckert) Dillen Maxfield Scott, 68, of Summitville, passed away on the evening of Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. She was born on January 19, 1947 to James and Evelyn (Quinn) Deckert in Indianapolis.
Kathy was a natural caregiver, had been a special needs teacher; but retired from teaching to care for her parents and grandmother. She was easy-going, straight forward and family oriented; and was a loving wife and a great friend.
She is survived by her husband, Bert Charles ‘Chuck' Scott; brother, James Lee Deckert; nieces & nephews, Elaine Lee Kendricks, Cynthia Marie Nichols, James Patrick Deckert and David Robert Deckert; and cousins, Linda McGlothlin, Brian Deckert and Karen Mitchell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Gerri Lynn & Carol Jean Dillen.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Rev. Stanley R. Sutton will officiate. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
