Kathleen Elizabeth Wooden, 61, Noblesville, passed away Monday, July 5, 2010 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born August 21, 1948 to William Hugh and Ruth Harriette (Goss) Wooden.
Kathleen had worked with the Division of Family Resources Department in both Hamilton and Marion counties for over 30 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Noblesville, where she was involved with the Priscilla Circle, and was a past-president and current chapter advisor with the Beta Epsilon Chapter of Kappa Kappa Kappa. She was also a cornea donor.
She is survived by life-partner of 25 years, Beth Lively of Noblesville; sister, Rebecca Ruth Wooden of LaPorte, IN; brothers, William H. (Susan) Wooden II of Silver Springs, MD, Michael J. (Diane Gallo) Wooden of Hammond, IN, Robert L. (Janet) Wooden of LaPorte, IN & John H. (Cindy) Wooden of LaPorte, IN; one niece; eight nephews; three grand-nieces; and two grand-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Mary A. Wooden.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at First United Methodist Church in Noblesville, with Pastors Corinne K. Boruff & Jack Wolfe officiating. Friends may call Saturday beginning at 10:00 immediately prior to the service. A wake will be held for friends and family to gather on Friday, July 9, 2010 from 3:00 to 8:00PM, also at the church in Celebration Hall.
