Kathryn Bittinger

Kathryn M. Bittinger, 88, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at her daughter's home in Carmel, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 15, 1926 to Fredrick and Clara (Abels) Shaffer in Dravosburg, Pennsylvania.
Kathryn worked as a Bookkeeper for Tri-County Mental Health (now Behavior Corp). She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and the Noblesville Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her daughter, Patty (Roger) Mansfield of Carmel, IN; son, Kevin Bittinger of Indianapolis, IN; grandson, Josh Bittinger; great-grandson, Elijah Bittinger; sister, Jean Moyle of McKeesport, PA; and her seven grand-dogs.
In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Roy K. Bittinger in 1994; one brother; and one sister.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 20650 Cumberland Road, in Noblesville, with visitation one hour prior to the service.  Pastor Doug Gast will officiate. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
