Kathryn Buckley, 95, Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2008 at Westminster Village in Indianapolis. She was born May 22, 1912 in Cumberland, Indiana to Bessie Lee (Burns) Stevens and Benjamin Harrison Stevens.
Kathryn had been a resident of Indianapolis for most of her life. She was a member of Omega Phi Tau Sorority and enjoyed painting, fishing, reading and listening to country music. She was a Pacers fan with Reggie Miller being her favorite player.
She had worked as a sales clerk for Blocks, Wassons and the Star Store.
She is survived by one son & daughter-in-law, Mike (wife, Diane) Smith of Acworth, GA; one daughter & son-in-law, Judy (husband, Orly) Knutson of Noblesville, IN; two granddaughters: Dawn Dickey of Noblesville, and Jill Fischer of Acworth, GA; one grandson, Kevin Smith of McCordsville, IN; 6 (six) great-grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three sisters.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, with Rev. Stan Sutton officiating. Friends may call Tuesday, March 11, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary. Graveside services will take place at 2:30 PM on Tuesday at Washington Park East in Indianapolis, Indiana
