Keith Orear

Keith Orear (Lamont Smith), 92, Noblesville, passed away Friday, January 2, 2009 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born June 27, 1916 in Hamilton County, Indiana. His parents were Charlie and Lois (Reasoner) Smith.
Keith had worked as a supervisor at Detroit Diesel - Allison Division, in Indianapolis, retiring in 1972. He was a graduate of Cicero High School, and was a member of First Friends Church, in Noblesville. He had served as a member of the Beech Grove Library Board and was an avid golfer.
He is survived by three sisters, Rosemary (LaVern) Nicholson of Castleton; Nancy Snell of New Mexico; Charlotte (Jim) Smith of Noblesville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by spouses, Frances Saunders and Gladys Mac; and three sisters, Peggy Hubanks, Wanda Smith and Shirley Ann.
Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at Cicero Cemetery with Pastor Bill Medlin officiating. A memorial service will be held at First Friends Church, 1055 Division Street, Noblesville, beginning at 4:30PM.
