Kelly Renee Noblitt Rickenbach, 48, of Indianapolis, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at home, following an extended illness. Kelly was born on March 28, 1966 in Indianapolis, and lived most of her life in Hamilton County. She was the daughter of the late Robert Noblitt and Lucille Noblitt, who survives.
A 1984 graduate of Hamilton Southeastern High School, Kelly attended Purdue University and graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She later attended Butler University and graduated in 1997, Cum Laude, from the College of Pharmacy. She graduated fourth in her high school class, excelled in her college classes and received numerous academic awards. She was a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Golden Key and Alpha Zeta. She worked as a pharmacist until her health failed.
Kelly married Dean Rickenbach, who survives. She is also survived by a sister and brother, Charlene Rockhold of Fishers and Robert (April) Noblitt of Sarasota, FL; two stepsons, Hunter and Logan; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her beloved pets.
Kelly had a great sense of humor. She was an accomplished cook. She loved all animals, horseback riding and decorating her home for the Christmas holidays.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville. Pastor Ken Mansfield, of Bethlehem United Methodist Church where Kelly was a member, will officiate.
