Kenneth Merritt

Kenneth D. Merritt, 74, Noblesville, IN passed away Sunday, July 4, 2010 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born July 21, 1935 in Clinton, IN to George T. and Nema (Wright) Merritt.
Kenneth was retired from Indiana State University, where he had been an HVAC mechanic. He was a US Navy Korean War veteran. He was a member of the Rod & Gun Club in Tewksbury, MA; the Terre Haute V.F.W.; and was involved with Boy Scouts of America.
He is survived by son, Kevin Merritt of New Hampshire; daughter, Karen Callahan (Robert Ingraham) of North Carolina; son, Keith Merritt (wife Donna) of Noblesville, IN; three brothers, Don Merritt, Neil Merritt & Tom Merritt; two sisters, Moyne Johnson & June Harris; nine grandchildren, Krystin Creech, Crystal Warnock, Michele Merritt, Courtney Merritt, Kenneth Merritt, Travis Merritt, Tyler Merritt, Alexis Merritt & Hailey Merritt; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Kate Cottrel.
Private family services will be held.
