Kenneth Jacob "Jake" Thompson

Kenneth Jacob "Jake" Thompson, 21, born on December 7, 1992, died September 26, 2014 in his family home in Fishers, Indiana.
Jake had a zest for life. His charismatic personality left smiles in his wake. Jake enjoyed spending time in the mountains, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, mountain biking, golfing, and rock climbing. His sense of adventure was never ending. Jake knew no strangers and welcomed everyone into his heart. Being in Jake's presence left one in a happier place.
He is survived by his parents, Gregory Douglass and Stephanie Ann Thompson; siblings, Corby Halla and Rachel Ann Thompson of Fishers, IN; maternal grandparents, Joseph William & Joan Shirley Halla of Granville, OH; paternal grandmother, Nancy Lee Thompson of Indianapolis, IN; and 71 aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jake was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Kenneth Eugene Thompson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church, 11441 Hague Road, in Fishers, with Rev. John Kiefer officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 30 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
