Kurt Rubisch
Kurt Otto Rubisch, formerly of Madison, WI, passed away on February 20, 2011. He was born on January 3, 1917 in Boston, MA.
Kurt was an Eagle Scout and Veteran of WWII, serving in the Army Air Corp. He was a graduate of the University of Idaho and a Masterbrewer. He worked as a Brewmaster at several Wisconsin breweries. He was active in the Madison Elks Lodge and VFW.
He is survived by his family: Gail (Rubisch) Hawkey, and Michael Hawkey; grandsons, Jay Hawkey, Dino Hawkey, and Christian Hawkey; and step-daughter, Marilyn Trentin of Madison, WI.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn "Kay" Rubisch; daughter, Carol Jean Rubisch; step-daughter, Judith A. Johnson, and brother, Martin Rubisch.
