Larry Dean Creakbaum, 85, of Fishers, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville. He was born on January 14, 1935 to Edward and Vesta (Cook) Creakbaum in Mentone, Indiana.
Larry proudly served in the United States Army. Larry had a civil engineering degree from Purdue University and was proud member of the John Purdue Club. He was a pilot, a member of the Quiet Birdmen, and involved in the Aviation Association of Indiana. Larry enjoyed playing table shuffleboard and was also inducted into the hall of fame of table shuffleboard.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patricia Creakbaum; sons, Eddie (Casey) Creakbaum, Matthew Creakbaum, and Ryan (Elizabeth) Creakbaum; grandchildren, Eli and Alex Creakbaum; sister-in-law, Nancy Hatherly.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Norma Jean Creakbaum.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers, with Rev. Brian D. Derrer officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Fishers.
