Larry W. Evans

Larry W. Evans, 63, of Fishers, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Select Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on December 4, 1951 to Floyd W. and Shirley J. (Elder) Evans in Indianapolis, Indiana. His father preceded him in death in 2001.
Larry retired from the Fishers Police Department after 23 years of service. He had also been a Hamilton County deputy coroner for 16 years and had worked for the Carmel Police Department for 12 years. He was a SAL member of the Fishers American Legion and the Iron Pigs Motorcycle Club. Larry enjoyed golf, baseball (especially the NY Yankees) and the Green Bay Packers. He was an avid photographer, and had taken many photos for the Fisher Freedom Festivals.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Evans; mother, Shirley J. Evans; children, Carla (Brian) Alspach, Ryan Evans, Rob (Jessica) Evans, Cameron (Katherine) Evans, Misty (Andy) Kuhn, and Stephany Bradshaw; sister, Penny (Rick) Owens; brother, Douglas (Cathy) Evans; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one niece; and two nephews.
There will be a visitation on Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a memorial service at 8:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, November 15, 2015 also at the funeral home. Chaplain Gary Stump will officiate.
