Larry K. Rozelle, 89, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023 at Five Star Residences of Noblesville. He was born on March 16, 1934 to Jesse and Mary (Koeniger) Rozelle in Huntsville, Indiana.
Larry graduated from Pendleton High School in 1952. After several army civilian jobs in Indianapolis, he enlisted in the United States Army. After basic training in Ft. Leonardwood, Missouri, he was stationed at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. Upon his honorable discharge, in 1958 Larry returned to Pendleton, Indiana and worked as a computer programmer at the United States Army Finance and Accounting Center at Ft. Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis until his retirement in 1988. After retirement, he worked as a driver for Hare Chevrolet, in Noblesville, Indiana.
He was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Noblesville, the Lions Club, the Order of Eastern Star, and was a past master of the Pendleton Masonic Lodge.
Larry loved his family, and enjoyed fishing, woodworking and classic antique automobiles.
His favorite week of the year was spent at Henderson Settlement in eastern Kentucky. Along with his church family, Larry helped with construction and repair both at the settlement property and in the surrounding communities.
The family would like to thank the staff of Five Star Residences of Noblesville and Paradigm Health Hospice services.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Debbie (Greg) Haslam; step-daughters, Linda Trowbridge, Karen (Gary) Hofing, Helen Pendry, and Michelle (Mike) Howell; step-son, John Thomas; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Mary (Koeniger) Rozelle; brothers, Herman "Bud" Rozelle, Jesse "Jet" Rozelle, and Norman "Gene" Rozelle; sisters, Opal Knoop and Janece Smith; first wife, Danna Lou (Adams) Rozelle; and second wife, Margaret (Thomas) Rozelle,
Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday June 5, 2023 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will be at Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton.
