Laura Frances Haskett

Laura Frances Haskett (Cook) went home to be with the Lord on May 7, 2009. Laura was born December 19, 1924 in Hamilton County, Indiana. She was a devoted wife to Richard Lee Haskett for 68 years. Mother to her 6 children: Frances Louise Montgomery (Lou) of Noblesville, IN; Donna Jean Lockridge of Noblesville; Timmy Lee (Tim) and Peggy Haskett of Noblesville; Roy Leland (Roy) and Darlyn Haskett of Danville; Vickie Jo (Vickie) Hilton of Noblesville and Tammy Sue & Dean Dougherty of Wintersville, OH. And Grandmother to her 17 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Sister to Joanne White of Noblesville, Joe Cook of Anderson, Roy & Joyce Cook of Kernersvillle, North Carolina, and Albert Allen Cook of Noblesville.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Louie Allen Cook and Nellie Frances Cook (Fouch), sisters Mae Meredith, Hazel Taylor, Lola Hemminger, Son-in-law Harold Montgomery and grandson Jim Montgomery.
Laura was a member of the Emmanual United Methodist Church of Noblesville, and an avid fan of word search puzzles. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 12, at 10:30 AM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville. Friends may call on Monday, May 11, from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Crownland Cemetery.
