Laura Anne Parrish

Laura Anne (Pickett) Parrish, 47, of Fishers, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. She was born on February 6, 1969 in Bloomington, Indiana.
Laura had been in the marketing field for many years after receiving her Bachelor's degree from IU Bloomington. She had a radiant personality, was very outgoing, extremely caring, funny and smart. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister, stepsister, niece, aunt, cousin and friend. Laura loved spending time with her family and friends, who all said she was a pistol. However, she always put family first.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Parrish; her father, Stephen D. (Kim) Pickett; her mother, Carolyn "Lucky" (Bob) Nellist; four children, Trent E. Schlafer, Sydney Schlafer, Samantha Parrish and Alexandria Parrish; grandfather, Dr. Robert D. Pickett; brother, Christopher D. (Brenda) Pickett; niece & nephew, Elizabeth and Samuel D. Pickett; stepbrother, Justin M. Burger; aunts, Anne (Ed) Joyce and Nancy Pickett; and cousins, Tyler P. (Kari) Lowman and Ian M. Bushong.
The family has chosen cremation with a private family celebration.
