Lawrence D. Dean

Lawrence D. Dean, 80, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. He was born on December 22, 1934 to Fleet and Pearl (Stapleton) Dean in Esserville, Virginia.
For over 25 years, Lawrence worked as a millman at Firestone, retiring in 1995. He loved his family, as well as gardening, country music, playing cards, western movies, and being outdoors.
Lawrence is survived by his children, Denna (Paul) Taylor, Jeffrey "Neal" Dean, and Vicki VanZandt (Jack Verstynen); one grandchild, Zachary Taylor; and four siblings.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Betty Dean; and five siblings.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 17, 2015, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville, with visitation from 11:00 am to the time of service. Rev. Stanley R. Sutton will officiate. Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery in Noblesville.
