Leah Nicole Hanley, 20, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. She was born on September 15, 1996 to Terry M. and Dawn M. (Bailey) Hanley in Winona, Minnesota. Leah was a 2015 graduate of Noblesville High School and was studying elementary education at Purdue, where she had just finished her sophomore year. For the past two summers, she taught preschool at the Goddard School in Noblesville; and last summer she spent three weeks in Honduras, with a group from Purdue, where she taught disadvantaged students. Leah was a gifted musician and loved to sing and play the guitar and ukulele; and enjoyed watching movies. She played on many softball teams, but her first love was serving God and others. She was a member of Cru at Purdue, a Christian fellowship group; and always made everyone feel welcome through her laughter and smile. Leah was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Clovis, CA. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brothers, Alec Hanley and Brady Hanley; grandparents, Larry & Borgny Hanley and Robert Bailey; and several aunts, uncles & cousins. Leah was preceded in death by her grandmother, Marie Bailey. Services will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 3:00 pm.
