Leanea Saye Nyeayea, 37, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2011 in Indianapolis. He was born on March 30, 1974 to Isaac and Alice (Helb) Nyeayea in Monrovia, Liberia.
Leanea served as a Deputy Sheriff for the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department and had proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine. He was a member of Christ Community Christian Church in Noblesville; '317 Riders' Motorcycle Club; U.L.I.C.A.F; A.I. M. S.; the Liberian Community Association of Indiana; and the Springfield International Soccer Club in Springfield, Illinois. Before moving to Indiana, he had worked for the Department of Corrections in Rhode Island.
He is survived by his wife, Nehlay Bendu Nyeayea; his parents, Isaac & Alice (Helb) Nyeayea; son, Charleston Soko; daughter, Pretty Guzeh; sons, Matthew Petty, Michael Thomas Semonelli & Leanea Saye Nyeayea II; brother, Arthur G. Nyeayea; sister, Mary Nyeayea; brother, Kehkeh Nyeayea; and his unborn twins.
Services will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Grace Community Church, 5504 East 146th Street in Noblesville, with visitation there on Friday, October 21, 2011 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
