Leila J. Toler, 98, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. She was born on January 4, 1920 to Arthur E. and Minnie (Enstrom) Anderson in Rock Island, Illinois. Most her life, Leila had enjoyed being a homemaker. She then went on to be an assistant in the library and Home Economics department at Tech High School. She was a member of First Christian Church in Noblesville; and active with Children's Haven International in Pharr, TX. She was very musically inclined and enjoyed singing in the choir, playing the piano, and singing with her husband at weddings and special events. She was also very active in the McAllen (TX) Mobile Home Park, where she enjoyed dinners, skits and social events. She is survived by her two children, Peggy Howe and Ran Toler; four grandsons, Erik Toler, Chuck Wethington, Andrew (Jody) Howe and Ryan (Sarah) Howe; and three great-grandchildren, Lily, Levi & Raleigh Howe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Pete Toler; son-in-law, John Howe; and daughter-in-law, Lynn Toler. Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 9, 2018 at First Christian Church of Noblesville, 16377 Herriman Blvd. in Noblesville with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon.
