Leisa Marie Ward

Leisa Marie Ward, 56, of Carmel, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. She was born on July 18, 1961 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Charles and Mary Wagner.
Leisa battled cancer fiercely, but gracefully for the last 15 years. She was known for always making lively conversation and story-telling, especially stories about her kids and grandkids. Her family meant the world to her. Leisa had a great sense of humor, an amazing memory and never met a stranger.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Ward; mother, Mary E. (Froman) Wagner Perry (husband Bill); daughters, Lindsay Heck (husband John) and Alyssa Ward; son, Tyler Ward (wife Tiffany); grandchildren, Jackson and Ava Ward (and one on the way), and Charlie Heck; sisters, Dee Dee Eickhoff (husband Ron) and Tammy Himsworth (husband Tim); in-laws, Bob and Mary Lou Ward; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and large group of very close friends.
Leisa was preceded in death by her father, Charles A. Wagner; and nephew, Joel Michael Eickhoff.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 with a service to follow at 7:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers. A private burial service will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
