Lena Mae Matherly Glover, 86, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus. Born August 3, 1928 in Noblesville, Lena Mae was the daughter of Harry Ernest and Vada Rae (Jeffries) Brown.
She was a Civil Service Employee at Fort Benjamin Harrison where she retired in 1987 after 17 years of service.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Matherly; granddaughter, Catherine 'Catie' King; stepson, Gary Glover; stepdaughter, Ruthann Davis; step grandchildren, Daniel Davis, Rachel (Davis) McCracken, Josh Glover, and Daniel Glover; step great-grandchildren, Naomi, Chloe & Nathan McCracken, Caleb & Clayton Glover; son-in-law, Doug King; and several cousins, nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of 44 years, Roger M. Matherly in 1990; her second husband of 16 years, Benjamin J. Glover in 2010; daughters, Teresa J. Matherly and Rebecca 'Becky' King; brothers, Harold, Maurice, Robert 'Bobby', and John 'Johnny'; and sisters, Catherine Matherly and Louise Glover.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon until the time of service. John Hudson will officiate. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
