Leo Stewart

Leo C. Stewart, 69, of Carmel, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at home. He was born on November 29, 1943 to Glen and Ruth (Fair) Stewart in Toledo, OH.
Leo retired from United Airlines after 34 years, where he had worked as a Senior Staff Specialist on training, and other areas of customer service in the Toledo, Chicago, and Indianapolis areas. He proudly served his country as a member of the United Sates Air Force; and was a member of Grace Community Church, where he was a Production Director in the Production Department. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by wife, Mary Lou Stewart whom he married April 10, 1965; sons, Steve (Vicki) Stewart, Jon Stewart & Dan (Marlene) Stewart; three grandchildren, Sarah, Zachary & Jacob Stewart; and sister, Judi Stewart.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Peg Koontz.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 pm on Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Grace Community Church, 5504 East 146th Street, in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 2:00 pm immediately prior to the service. Pastor Tim Ayers will officiate.
