Leota M. Barker

Leota M. Barker, 98, of Westfield, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Wellbrooke of Westfield.  She was born on June 3, 1924 to Bert and Gwena (Stemen) McBride in Allentown, Ohio.

Leota worked in accounting and bookkeeping for many years. She was a member of Westfield Friends Church and attended Hinkle Creek Friends Church. 

She is survived by her son, Reid (Martha) Barker; daughter, Helen (Gary) Louks; daughter, Joyce (John) Story; son, Robert Barker; daughter, Rebecca (Lonnie) Brock; son, Douglas  Barker; grandchildren, Logan Barker, Shandelle & Shay Schirmer, Alisha & Adriana Story, Jenalee, Lyssa, Karena, Ryan & Austin Brock, Matthew & Grant Barker, Michael Brock, Lori Kolter, Kristina Roell; great-grandchildren, Gwenna Day and Layne Brock; and many extended family members.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Fulton Barker; and nine siblings.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with Pastor Robert Stubbs officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00 am to the time of service at the funeral home.  Burial will be immediately following the service at Summit Lawn Cemetery in Westfield.
