LeRoy F. "Lee" Lampert, 98, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. He was born on April 4, 1918 to William and Anna (Tribout) Lampert in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Lee proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. He was an electronics technician for RCA for 27 years, and was an avid tennis player up into his 90s.
Lee is survived by his daughters, Sandy (John) Ameis and Cindy Johnson; five grandchildren, Angie (Jeff) Curtis, Michael (Marie) Ameis, Nancy (Charley) Skinner, Stacie (Mike) Neathery, and Carrie Johnson; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and nephews, Louis (Gaye) Appel and Gary Appel.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice "Marge" Lampert; and son-in-law, Scott Johnson.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street in Noblesville, with visitation one hour prior. Rev. Tom Metzger will officiate. Burial with honors will take place on Wednesday, June 1 at 2:30 pm CST at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Road, Saint Louis, MO.
