Lillian (Caylor) Kreag, 80, Noblesville, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born November 28, 1928 in Noblesville.
Lillian had been employed at the Colonial Gift Shop and then Willits Clothing & Dry Goods before her 18 years in the Hamilton County Recorder's Office, from where she retired in 1999. Lillian graduated from Noblesville High School and was a loyal Miller fan. She had been a girl scout leader of troop 757; member of Delta Sigma Kappa; member of Hamilton County Republican Women, and had been a Republican precinct committee-woman. She was an avid seamstress, loved gardening and flowers. She also loved her grand dog, 'Sofie'.
She is survived by her daughter, State Representative Kathy Kreag Richardson of Noblesville; sister, Betty Kitterman; brother, Harry Wiggins; brother-in-law, Ivan Sherman; nephew, Mike (Pati) Roudebush, and nieces, Vickie Wright, Christy Wiggins, Nancy Ireland, Cyndi Renn & Cherry Parks.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Kreag, whom she married on June 28, 1947.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, Noblesville. Friends may call Friday, May 1, 4:00 - 8:00PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery.
