Linda Jan Eads

Linda Jan Eads, 63, of Carmel, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. She was born on January 22, 1953 to Russell and Mary Elizabeth (Russ) Eads in Noblesville, Indiana.
Linda received her undergraduate degree from Ball State and her master's degree from Indiana University. For 39 years, she was a second grade teacher for Noblesville Schools, retiring in 2016. Linda loved teaching and her kids, and missed them after retiring. She had a love for poodles, especially her dogs Abbey and Chloe; and was an avid reader who loved to stay home and read.
She is survived by her mother & step-father, Mary Elizabeth & Lee Lantzer; brother, Jeff (Alice) Eads; grandmother, Lenice Russ; several aunts & uncles; niece and nephews, Jessica (Clay) Pruitt, Michael (Stephanie) Eads, Michael (Jamie) Jamison and Scott (Jessica) Jamison; as well as great-nieces & nephews, Graham Eads, Shaylee Jamison and Nicolas & Makayla Jamison.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, Russell Eads in 2005; sister, Pamela Jamison in 2013; and grandparents, Waylon Russ and Chester & Lucretia Eads.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Poodle Club of America Rescue Foundation at www.poodleclubofamericarescuefoundationinc.org/
