Linda Bateman Gibbons

Linda Bateman Gibbons, 80, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.  She was born on June 5, 1943 to William and Nancy (Young) Bateman in Zanesville, Ohio.

Linda was a homemaker who was a voracious reader and enjoyed crafting and sewing.  She was a member of Noblesville First United Methodist Church where she was active with WIGS and the prayer quilt team.  Linda volunteered at Riverview Hospital for 25 years and was a member of the Riverview Auxiliary Board.  She loved spending time with her friends and loved her dog.

Linda is survived by her son, Stephen (Tracie) Gibbons Jr.; daughter, Kristen (David) Garber; and her grandchildren, Maxwell Remley, Fletcher Remley, Lucy Garber, and Brooklyn Gibbons.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Gibbons Sr.; and her daughter, Nancy Remley.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, with services at 3:00 pm, on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Noblesville First United Methodist Church, 2051 Monument Street, in Noblesville.  Pastor Nicole Caldwell-Gross and Pastor Warren Otter will officiate.  Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
