Loain 'Lody' Pryor, 82, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born on July 9, 1930 to Jesse and Madie (Bolin) Pryor in Sterns, Kentucky.
Lody retired from TRW (Noblesville Casing Company) after 32 years of service. After retirement, he had worked for the Cain Corporation. He was a member of the First Church of God in Noblesville and a former member of the Moose Lodge. He loved music, politics, squirrels; spending time with family; and was an avid shopper.
He is survived by his wife, Beatrice 'Bea' Pryor of Noblesville; daughters, Kathleen Hamelman of Noblesville, Patricia (Robert) Whitmore of Washington, Brenda Pryor of Atlanta, IN, Dana Owens of Noblesville, & Teresa Pryor of Tipton; brother, Arthur Pryor of Indianapolis; 24 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Shelby Jean Pryor; brothers, Allen, Jesse & Paul Pryor; and sisters, Grace Baker, Barbara Pence, Joyce Stewart, Nellie Bryant, Cindy Pryor & Pearl Lovitt.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Pastor James McGuffey officiating. Visitation will be Friday, October 5, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
