Lois Carroll

Lois May Carroll passed from this life on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 in Foley, AL, to be with her beloved husband.  She was born in Colfax, IN on April 18, 1917 to Wallace and Merl Buskirk Boots. 
She was married to Byron 'Dick' Carroll in 1937 who predeceased her in 1976.  Also predeceasing her were her two brothers, Samuel and Lawrence Boots of New Market, IN. 
She is survived by one son, Dr. William Lee Carroll of Daphne, AL; a daughter and son-in-law, Betty Lou and Dennis Overdorf of Radford, VA; grandchildren Will (Barbara) Carroll of Indianapolis, Debra (Doug) Capobianco of Christiansburg, Susan Hurst of Radford, Michael (Amy) Overdorf of Carmel, and Virginia Carroll of North Carolina; and four great-grandchildren, Trey and Susanna Worrell of Radford, Stephen Capobianco of Christiansburg, and Victoria Overdorf of Carmel. 
Lois was a 60-year member of Refuge Christian Church in Noblesville.  Her family will cherish wonderful memories such as her beef and noodles, potato salad and endless games of Euchre.
The funeral will be at 12:00noon on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Randall and Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, Noblesville, followed by burial at 2:30 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery on Grant Street in Crawfordsville, IN.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral.  
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Refuge Christian Church.
