Lois Imogene (Johns) Poff, 83, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013. She was born on March 18, 1930 to Erven and Helen (Newkirk) Johns in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Lois was a Homemaker. She had also worked as a Secretary for the Indianapolis Public School System, and the Riviera Club in Indianapolis. She enjoyed gathering with her high school friends once a month for bridge club, and especially enjoyed the simpler things in life, reminiscing and telling stories, as well as family gatherings. Most of all, she loved being with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by daughters, Linda (George) Wilson, and Donna (Bill) Pickett; grandchildren, Katie Skillman, Robyn (Mark) Littler, Ryan Wilson, and Michael Skillman; brothers, John H. Johns, and Robert Johns; and sister, Marilyn (Ken) St. Onge.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Billy Monroe Poff.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville, with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home, prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 Noon. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
