Lorraine S. "Lovey" Wilber, 82, of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 29, 2018 while visiting family in Carmel, Indiana. She was born on December 9, 1936 to Louis and Mary (Zaucha) Slowik in Detroit, Michigan.
Lovey was a very social lady who loved talking to people. She enjoyed reading, crosswords & jigsaw puzzles. Lovey married William Wilber in 1955. They had 6 children. She was an excellent calligrapher and spoke through her cards of which she sent out hundreds each year. Lovey and her beautiful cards will be missed by all.
Lovey was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother of Denise Wiese; Angela (Jamey Carey), Ashley and Jacob Carey; Jesse (Danielle), Elizabeth Sparaco Wiese and Ava and Ella Wiese; Brittina (Justin Navin), Xavier and August; William (Lisa) Wilber; Brent (Amber) Kyleen and Jackson Wilber; Morgan (Joe Snavely); Issaac Goren; Caitlyn and Zoe Goren; Gabe (Whitney) Goren; Sarah Lorraine Wilber; Robert (Su Hyun) Wilber; John (Libby) Wilber; Jeffrey and Ethan Wilber; Brian (Tracy) Wilber; Alexandra Murray; Donovan Haro and Jack Murray; Benjamin and Nathan Wilber; Todd Wilber; Christopher (Eden) Wilber; Jack, Charlie, Evan, Kira and new Baby Wilber; brothers, Richard Slowik and Ronald Slowik; and her special cousin Kathy Wojcik Van Belle.
In addition to her parents, Lovey was preceded in death by her first husband, William Wilber; second husband, Jack Robinson; her companion, James Trainor; her Auntie Christine Wojcik and Uncle John Wojcik; and Cousin Jean Bacso.
Family services will be held at a later date. Randall & Roberts Funeral Homes has been entrusted with Lovey's care.
