Lowell Ballard, 96, Noblesville, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born March 7, 1912 in Westfield to James Condo and Lula (Pfaff) Ballard.
Lowell worked for Firestone Industrial Products as the chief of plant protection and was a member of the First Christian Church in Noblesville. He loved horses and dogs and attended the Indiana State Fair regularly.
He is survived by daughter, Sharon (& Jim) Grubaugh of Carmel; and two granddogs, Coco and Katie.
Lowell married Opal Reedy in 1939. She preceded him in death in 1969. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Max and Gene and his sister, May.
Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Rev. Frank Harris officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 10:00 - 12:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery.
