Francis 'Lowell' Shoe, 84, Noblesville, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. He was born October 26, 1925 in Sheridan to George and Carrie (Faucett) Shoe.
Lowell was a graduate of Sheridan High School. He was retired from Culligan Softwater in Noblesville after 45 years with the company. Prior to that, he had worked for Biddle Screw Products and Stahls Lumber Yard, both in Sheridan. He had also worked part-time at Rainbow Roller Rink in Noblesville, where he met and married his wife, Lois, in 1958. He was a member of Sheridan Masonic Lodge and the Noblesville Senior Citizens Organization. He loved his family and was an avid euchre player which he played 3-4 times a week.
He is survived by son, Darrell A. (Ruthie) Shoe of Indianapolis; step-daughter, Deborah (Randall) Black of Marion, IN; two grandchildren, Jeremy Sivis & Tessa Bravo Salazar; and two great-grandchildren, Abigail Sivis & Maylen Bowen.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Lois Marie Shoe in August 2007; and sister, Dortha Lee Hinshaw.
Services will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, July 16, 2010 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville, with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating. Friends may call Friday, July 16, 11:00AM - 1:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
