Luke Butler

Luke Gordon Butler, age 8, of Fishers, IN passed away August 29, 2011. Luke was the beloved son of Keith and Erin (Mendenhall) Butler, born January 24, 2003. Luke was the brother of Samuel, Benjamin, and Sarah; grandson of Gordon and Susan Mendenhall, and Jay and Jean Butler; great-grandson of Patricia Matchett; nephew of Brad and Jodi Butler, Andy and Jill Canada, and Tyler and Elizabeth Mendenhall; cousin of Abigail and William, Kate and Allison, Colin, Nathaniel and Grace.
Luke was a third grader at Brooks School Elementary, and a member of the gifted and talented class. Luke loved his family, friends, cats, gardening, coin collecting, nature, playing with his brothers, and being an Ambassador for Make-a-Wish.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 3, 2011, at Castleton United Methodist Church located at 7101 N. Shadeland Avenue, Indianapolis, IN. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00-8:00 PM at Randall and Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road.
