M. Joyce (Butcher) Migliano, 80, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, passed away on March 20, 2013. Joyce was born on April 26, 1932 to Roland and Mary (Rees) Butcher.
Joyce was a graduate of Shortridge High School. On August 4, 1950, she married life-long partner, Frank Migliano. She was employed by Sears in Castleton as Store Trainer and retired in 1991. After her retirement, she enjoyed playing golf with her close friends, and spending time with family. She served as secretary-treasurer of Muscatatuck Association of Retarded Citizens for many years. Joyce was a long time member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis.
In addition to her husband of 62 years, she is survived by daughters, Sandra (Gary) Blackburn & Donna (Joseph) Newman; son, Frank Jr, who resides in a group home; grandchildren, Carrie (George) Summers, Timothy Chariton, Todd (Tracy) Chariton, Robin (Craig Shaw) Chariton & Megan Newman; six great-grandchildren; and two older brothers, Roland W. Butcher & Jesse M. Butcher.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her younger brother, Roy L. Butcher.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2013 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Rd in Fishers. Services will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, March 25, 2013 at Faith Presbyterian Church, 8170 Hague Rd in Indianapolis, IN, with visitation beginning at noon prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to ARC of Greater Boone County (Association of Retarded Citizens), 825 W. Main, Lebanon, IN; or, Faith Presbyterian Church.
