Mabelle Franklin

Mabelle Franklin left this earth February 25th, 2019 at the age of 93. She passed peacefully in Ft Worth, Texas with two of her daughters at her side. The last two years of her life were spent living in Texas with her eldest daughter. Before moving to Texas, she was a long-time resident of Noblesville, Indiana.

She dedicated her life to her family and working for her church, Calvary Temple of Indianapolis. She served the church by directing the choir, instructing various ensembles, playing the organ, and serving as the church bookkeeper.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Estella Moss of Sullivan, Indiana; her 8 brothers and 6 sisters; and a granddaughter, Brittany Joy Gonzalez. Her husband of 54 years, Thomas Franklin, passed in 1999.

Mabelle is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Morgan (Mike), Iris Smith (Errol, deceased), and Carol Gonzalez (Ruben); seven grandchildren, Tom, Michael (Nadine), and Lisa Morgan, Rebecca Smith, and Kristen Schreiber (Chris), Ryan, and Timothy (Ilse) Gonzalez; and 8 great-grandchildren, Elyssa, Chloe, and Emily Morgan, Jackson, Kaitlynn, Jacob, and Aubrey Schreiber, and Grayson Gonzalez.

A service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with visitation one hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis, Indiana.
