Manuel Wooten, 72, of Fortville, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013. He was born on June 13, 1940 to Dennis and Omia (Engle) Wooten in Hazard, Kentucky.
Manuel was retired from Noblesville Casting. He loved his grandchildren and great-granddaughter more than anything; and had a passion for his race horses.
He is survived by daughter, Debbie (Mike) Tomlinson; granddaughter, Melissa (Clint) Ogle; great-granddaughter, Lillian Ogle; grandson, Steven Tomlinson; granddaughter, Kayla (Chris) Mathews; brothers, Eugene Wooten, Bill (Betty Jo) Wooten, Bobby Wooten and Jerry (Gladys) Wooten; sister, Rachel Lewis; and many extended family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Wooten; brother, Allen Wooten; and sisters, Della Mae Baker and Ora Estep.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Rev. James McGuffey officiating. Visitation will be Monday, February 25, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville.
