Margaret V. "Maggie" Shuya

Margaret V. "Maggie" Shuya, 59, of Fishers, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Riverview Health in Noblesville.  She was born on March 9, 1960 to the R. Richard and Elizabeth (Dixon) Van Horne of Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Maggie liked nature, flowers and trees, and loved cats.  She enjoyed intelligent debates and was very involved with the Fishers Soccer Club.  Most of all, Maggie loved her family, and her grandson was the light of her life.

She is survived by her husband, George Shuya; son, Michael Shuya; daughter, Elizabeth (Adam) Leagre; grandson, Will Leagre; a granddaughter on the way; sister, Ann (Jack) Arms; and brother, Ross (Kandy) Van Horne.

Services will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers, with visitation from 4:00 pm to the time of service.
