Maria del Carmen Rushinsky, 66, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at her home in Noblesville. She was born on July 12, 1945 to Juan Jose and Maria Soledad (Villar de Galan) Galan in El Puerto de Santa Maria, Spain.
Carmen was a life-long homemaker. She was a life giver to her family, a peace maker, and the glue that held the family together. She always put everyone else first and had a special way of making you feel loved. Siempre sera la corazon de la familia.
She was a member of Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
She is survived by her husband, John Joseph Rushinsky Sr.; son, John Joseph (Katy) Rushinsky Jr.; son, Michael Ramon (Laura) Rushinsky; daughter, Tanya (Vincent) Aviles; son, Mark Anthony (Laura) Rushinsky; daughter, Celeste Nicole Rushinsky; sister, Maria Soledad Galan Villar; ten grandchildren: Joseph Thomas Aviles, Austin Michael Rushinsky, Jack Rushinsky, Anabella Rose Klepper, Meghan Rose Rushinsky, Alex Matthew Rushinsky, Bridget Marie Rushinsky, Noah Anthony Aviles, Gabriel Manolo Rushinsky, and Andrew Vincent Aviles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Juan Ramon Galan Villar; sister, Maria Dolores Galan de Dominguez; brother, Juan Jose Galan Villar; brother, Juan Manuel Galan Villar; sister, Maria Josefa Galan Villar; and twin granddaughters: Allie Marie & Marie Allie Rushinsky.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 E. 191st Street, Noblesville, with Father Tom Metzger officiating. Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery in Noblesville. In addition, a Memorial Mass in celebration of life is being held at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 31, 2012, at Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Road, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with Msgr. John N. Suelzer officiating.
