Marie Josephine Collins

Marie Josephine Collins, 92, of Noblesville, was received into the arms of the Lord on the morning of Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Riverwalk Village. She was born on March 5, 1924 to Phillip and Josephine (Gatto) Jardina in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Marie attended St. Agnes Academy in Indianapolis, was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, and enjoyed antiques and crocheting. She never met a stranger, and always put other's needs above her own. Most of all, Marie loved the time she spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol J. Foster; brother, Phillip (Nancy) Jardina; four grandchildren, Brad Messer, Sophia Foster, Carrie Dolan, and Ashley Bligan; and three great-grandchildren, Gina Mills, Ayden Dolan, and Adrianna Messer.
In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Norman E. Collins in 2005; and her daughter, Gina Bligan.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street in Noblesville, with visitation from 11:00 am to the time of service. Rev. Tom Metzger will officiate. Burial will be at Anderson Cemetery in Indianapolis.
